Methodology:
We are always in small groups so everyone has a task.
These tasks are listening, speaking, correcting, communicating, learning.
Often they involve imagination and
planning and action and the aim is to build up the learner's confidence. The teacher is part of the process. Often our students practise without realising they are studying.
Some Lesson Titles:
The Golden River, The Box, Making an Omelette, The Scout Camp, Rats in the Restaurant.
These titles might seem strange but we are serious about our aims. Have a look in the next column for the learning targets of the lesson called 'The Box'.

The Lesson called 'The Box':
We learn a lot of prepositions
(e.g. inside, outside, at the edge, in the corner, at the top, at the bottom).
We learn comparison of adjectives
(e.g. strong, stronger, strongest).
We look at structural phrases
(e.g. What's it made of?).
We discuss many business themes
(e.g. packaging, advertising).
We discuss many general themes
(e.g. recycling, materials, the environment).
We guess what's in the box.
We even stand on the box.
